Operations
Products & inventory
Your catalog and the stock behind it.
Add products with their variants, prices and photos, and switch each one between live and draft. Photos and other files live in your media library, ready to reuse. Adding what each item costs you lets Prezense work out your profit.
Stock is tracked per variant and per location, so a warehouse and a shop each keep their own count. You can move stock between locations and see the history of every change. Coming from another platform? Bring your catalog, customers and orders over from the Migrate section of Get Started.
Add a linen shirt in white and navy, sizes S to XL, at $45, with 20 of each in the warehouse.
Orders & fulfilment
From a new order to a happy customer.
Every order lands on the Orders page, where you can search, filter and open it for the full picture. Fulfilling an order buys its shipping label, with the service the customer chose at checkout already selected, and you can fulfil many at once and print labels and packing slips together.
You can also refund all or part of an order, cancel it, fix a shipping address, add notes and resend order emails. Refunds go back through your own Stripe account. Flagged orders, returns and exchanges each have their own tab, so nothing slips through.
Fulfil all of today's UK orders with the cheapest tracked service and give me the labels to print.
Shipping & delivery
Real rates at checkout and labels in a click.
Shoppers see live rates from major carriers at checkout and choose the service that suits them. Use Prezense's rates straight away, or connect your own carrier accounts to use your negotiated prices.
Set up the packages you ship in and your shipping rules, such as whether an order can be split across locations. Customers get shipping updates by email as their parcel moves, and return labels can be bought the same way as outgoing ones.
Customers
Everyone who's bought from you, in one place.
The Customers page lists every customer with their orders, spend and loyalty points. Search and filter to find a particular person or group, such as your most valuable customers or people who haven't ordered in a while, and see who has agreed to receive marketing emails.
Who are my top 10 customers this year, and when did each of them last order?
Discounts & promotions
Discounts, promo codes, sales and affiliates.
Run an automatic discount, a promo code shoppers type at checkout, a store-wide or collection sale, or an affiliate code that tracks sales from a partner. Each one has its own dates and limits, and you can see how much revenue it has brought in.
Create a 15% promo code for returning customers, valid until Sunday.
Emails & campaigns
Every email your store sends, in your brand.
Your store comes with every email already written: order confirmations, shipping and return updates, sign-in codes, cart recovery and notifications. Change the words and design of any of them on the Email page, add your logo, or ask agents to rewrite them in your voice.
Campaigns are one-off emails, such as a sale announcement, sent only to customers who have opted in to marketing. You'll see how many were opened and clicked.
Draft a campaign announcing our summer sale to everyone who bought from us last year.
Analytics & profit
How your store is really doing.
See revenue, profit, orders, visitors and conversion for any date range, along with your best sellers, where your customers are, and who's on your site right now. Profit takes off discounts, the cost of your products, shipping labels and refunds, so it reflects what you actually keep.
For anything the charts don't show, just ask agents and they'll answer from your store's data.
Compare last month's profit with the month before, and tell me what changed.
Store settings
Payments
Get paid straight into your own Stripe account.
Prezense takes payments through your own Stripe account, so money goes directly to you. Add your main Stripe key in Settings → Store before you go live, and a test key so you can try checkout in your preview without charging anyone. Refunds are paid back through the same account.
Taxes
Tax stays in your control.
Because payments run through your own Stripe account, tax is collected there too, for example with Stripe Tax. Prezense records the tax charged on each order so your totals and reports are right, but the settings and filings stay with you and your accountant.
Email sending domain
Emails that come from your store, not from us.
Verify your own domain so your store's emails come from your name, such as hello@yourbrand.com. Ask agents to set it up: you add one record to your domain's settings and they check it's working. You can then send from any address on that domain. Until a domain is verified, marketing emails like cart recovery and notifications aren't sent.
Set up linenandloom.com so my store's emails come from hello@linenandloom.com.
In-store point of sale
Keep your till, and keep everything in step.
If you also sell in person, your shops keep their own till. Create a POS API token in Settings → Point of sale and give it to your IT team; it works with any system. Once they've connected it, in-store sales, refunds and each shop's stock flow into Prezense, so your online store never sells something that's just gone over the counter, and your reports include every channel. Available on Growth and above.
Taking your store offline
A pause, not a goodbye.
Take your live site offline for a while, during a stock take or a rebrand for example, from the Publish menu or by asking agents. Visitors see a short “temporarily unavailable” page on every address, including your own domain. Nothing is changed or deleted, and bringing it back online restores exactly what was there.
Closing your store
Shutting down for good, safely.
Closing a store takes its site down, disconnects its domains and point of sale, and stops it taking orders. You confirm by typing the store's name. Your data is kept for 90 days, so you can download it or change your mind and reopen. After that, it's permanently deleted.
Account & billing
Plans & billing
Your plan and invoices.
See your current plan, change it, and view past invoices in Settings → Billing. Your plan covers access to Prezense and your stores; the work agents do is paid for separately with usage credits.
Credits & usage
Pay only for the work agents do.
Usage credits are a prepaid balance in dollars. Each message to an agent draws a little from it, depending on the model, the effort and how much work the task involves, and voice input and scheduled tasks draw from the same balance. When it runs out, agents pause until you top up.
Settings → Usage shows your balance and a breakdown by model, so you can see where your credits go.
